The past year was fun and challenging! Each one of us grew individually to establish a stronger, responsible, and more passionate team. We were able to mitigate challenges that arose by focusing on our strengths. Here is a brief recap:
We kicked off 2018 busier than ever. We stayed busy continuously throughout the year even during the winter months. Dennis began delegating tasks to Mike, Sharon, and Jeff as he approaches retirement. Laura took on more responsibilities and became a CSR superstar in the office. Carl worked to become a better leader in the field and we celebrated his 15th anniversary at Approved Plumbing Co. We added two new apprentices in March; Russ B and Orlando P. They are currently training to become plumbing service technicians. Our marine and retired laborer John reduced his work days as he approaches his second retirement. Russ F started teaching his remodeling skills to apprentices and other team members. Luke finished the year with amazing grades as he works toward completing his apprenticeship by 2020.
2019 is going to be fun. As a client, you are paying for product consultation, superior workmanship, and responsible professionals. Our philosophy is to provide impressive customer service by being exceptionally prompt, courteous, clean, knowledgeable, reliable, and responsible. We take each and every inquiry seriously to satisfy the needs you present. Most importantly, we take pride in continuing to improve. Here are things we hope to accomplish this year:
- Russ B and Orlando P to start apprenticeship school.
- Luke to complete his 3rd year at apprenticeship school.
- Russ F to create easier remodeling options for clients.
- John to teach our first intern about the basics.
- Carl to become a go-to field educator to improve workmanship.
- Laura to improve job scheduling.
- Mike and Jeff to obtain their Contractor’s License.
- Sharon to improve administrative systems and processes.
- Dennis to delegate more responsibilities.
